You might be wondering why there's a ton of sunset pictures in this blog, but don't worry I'll explain it. Sunsets. The way to my heart. The thing that can make my bad days into good days. It may be the beautiful innocence it portrays or just the fact that we are so small compared to the universe.

This picture was taken in Oklahoma State in front of Library Lawn. Two of my favorite things captured in one picture. I was heading to the library for a long night of studying and when I laid eyes on this scenery my heart filled up with joy.

Hawaii 2016. This picture is breathtaking. I don't think there's a good enough word to express how beautiful this picture is. For my senior vacation with my family we went to Hawaii, and one night we went to a Luau at sunset and this is what the sky looked like. No filters are added to this. The radiating orange filled the sky and reflected off the ocean, creating such a peaceful and calming mood.

Summer 2017 in The Woodlands, Texas. This summer I was going through a lot of things, physically and mentally. During those moments, I would go for a drive down to the lake to watch the sunset. Taking this picture gave me a reality check. It made me realize that I needed to enjoy the little things in life and to stop taking life so serious.

North Carolina. This picture was so interesting to me. Never in my life have I seen a split of light in the sky like this. The sun had already set, but it still illuminated such beautiful pastel colors. I relate this picture to the Lord and how I know that we aren't alone in this universe, there's something much greater than us.

This picture means a lot to me. I lost a friend December 2015. It was a sad time and the only thing that gave me a sense of hope were sunsets. This one specifically spoke volumes to me. The color for suicide awareness is purple. This picture was taken on her birthday. Call it what you want, but this was a sign coming straight to me. After seeing this sunset, I had a feeling of peace and hope.

May 2016 in The Woodlands Texas. I took this picture after Houston had a flash flood for over 3 months. My graduation got postponed and my last day of high school got canceled. I went to the lake after it was completely underwater, to see this beautiful view. I called this picture "The Calm After the Storm". Beauty always finds a way to come out of the most devastating times.

Now this picture... I don't even know how to describe it. Have you ever seen something like this before? The sky is literally split between night and day. I relate a bible verse back to this picture. One of my favorite verses that couldn't be more fitting for this is Psalm 19:1 "The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands".
So... why should you care?
I mean, no one has to care about anything. However, if you want to get to know me and what I love, reading this blog would help. I don't write and photograph for people, I do it for myself. It's a sense of clarity to remember what's really important in this world, and not to be distracted from the materialistic items of this world. Sunsets are one of the most beauitful acts of nature, and I believe everyone should take the time to appreciate one every now and then if they haven't already.
PS: *all pictures are natural, no filters added*
